After months of wainting, my PSP finally arrived. I've wanted a PSPGO for a really long time, I think it's small size is really cute, and the PSP is a great plataform, especially for homebrew and emulation. I even painted my nails to match it.
First thing I did when I got it was to fill it to the brim with games. Even put a Metal Gear theme, since I love MGS.
I'm loving it so far, but I have a few problems with it. The PSP GO uses a proprietary storage format, the M2, which is different from the Memory Stick used in the regular PSP models. Which means it's a pain in the ass to get extra storage on it. I'm considering getting the M2 SD card adapter, but it's really expensive. Around 300 or 200 reais, while the regular Memory Stick adapter is around 40 or 50 reais. The PSP GO also has another problem, the battery. It is harder to get and more expensive.
One of the things that really dissapointed me was the lack of a proper DOOM port. There's around 4 different ports, each with their own set of problems. The best being Doom Legacy, which is... bad. Not the worst, but also not the best. It is pretty customizable, and claims to run Boom wads, but I couldn't get some boom wads or dehacked files to work. I was thinking about trying to port DSDA, but I couldn't even get the SDK to work properly, so I gave up :(
